The iO delivers a noticeably better clean between my teeth, thanks to its unique brushing mechanism. The combination of micro-vibrations with the traditional oscillating motion makes for a more thorough clean that is both gentler and quieter than previous models. The set includes the toothbrush handles, x2 Ultimate Clean brush head, a travel charging case, a charging cable. The design is sleek and modern; the handle and charger look smart in the bathroom. There are number of brushing modes available, but I mainly use the Daily Clean. The Daily Clean mode is gentle yet powerful, giving my gums a comfortable massage while effectively cleaning the small spaces between teeth. My mouth feels noticeably fresher after each use. The iO also encourages good brushing habits. It briefly pauses every 30 seconds to remind you to move to a new section of your mouth; and it can connect to the Oral-B app for real-time feedback. The app offers guidance and keeps a brushing history and easy enough to use daily. Charging is fast and convenient. The metal rod at the top of the handle can collect build-up if not properly maintained; and since the replacement heads are quite expensive, taking care of them is worth the effort. The app setup was quick and intuitive. The travel case is neat and practical, though it is worth noting that it does not store the charger. If you are in the UK, you will need a shaving adaptor plug. Overall, the Oral-B iO is a major upgrade from my previous Oral-B Pro 1 600. It offers a superior clean, a more pleasant brushing experience, and useful smart features that genuinely enhance oral care; easily worth the higher cost of replacement heads.

The new brush action doesn't scrub your teeth and gums, it vibrates them with a very genital action. With the app on the phone you see where needs more cleaning great idea. The overall finish felt very clean and fresh.

It has 5 smart modes to choose from while cleaning: daily clean, sensitive, super sensitive, whitening and intense. I mostly like daily clean and sensitive as this one protects my gums and is very gentle. I used before some simple electric toothbrushes but now I understand where is a good product. The vibration is directed directly to bristles of the toothbrush head so it cleans mush better, more precistly, and more directly. While others, they just vibrates the whole toothbrush the main body and does not do the job at all. Easy to use, looks very smart and stylish very happy.

This isn't just an electric toothbrush, it's a tiny overachiever with a motor. The first time I tried it, I swear I could practically hear my teeth muttering, finally, some respect. The clean it gives is ridiculous -- not your usual "ah that'll do" scrub, but the kind of dentist-fresh feeling that makes you want to smile at strangers in the supermarket just to show off. At first, I thought that the instructions were a little confusing and I had to go to Youtube to fully understand all of the functions.. I wish the toothbrush gave me a reminder after the 2-minute mark, rather than every 30-seconds, as the last thing you want to do first thing in the morning is to keep count. I liked the pressure feature on the unit. I'm a little concerned that the brush heads are so expensive, when I have to replace them in 3-months time. Overall, a very nice product and I hope that my dentist will notice the difference.

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] Would I ever suggest buying a toothbrush with a £100 price tag? Not in my wildest dreams. But does this toothbrush go above and beyond to give you a full mouth clean? Yes! It really does! I can't say I've ventured into any mode except the standard daily clean, but that does a fantastic job both with and without the app to help. With the app, it shows your exactly which areas you need to focus on and gives you a visual timer of how long you've been brushing, as well as showing you both on screen and indicating with a light change of how much pressure you're applying (not enough, too much and just right). Without the app, the brush gives you alerts at 30 second intervals to let you know when to change position and when you've finished a 2 minute brushing session. One charge lasts around a week, and the app shows you battery percentage so you know when you need to charge again. Both me and my partner have noticed a massive difference in how clean our mouth feels and how much fresher our breath seems since swapping to the Oral B io5 Some points to note: - I suffer from vertigo and this took me a while to adjust to. It makes me feel quite dizzy when brushing my top teeth as the vibrations are very intense! A couple weeks later and I've got used to it now, but it's something to note. - I struggled to link the app and ended up having to say the area I lived in was New York, despite living in the UK, but it seems to work just fine

There are many features making it great for all, as someone with sensitive gums i used it on the feather plus icon and found it to be amazing. However the instructions weren't very clear so I had to google what each was. I found the instructions on how to select modes easy to understand. I love that it comes with a travel case as that is the main reason I use a normal toothbrush whilst travelling so will definitely be taking this with me on my next adventure. I like that you can change the colour to your own preference and that it tells you when the 2 minutes is up rather than losing track of it vibrating every 30 seconds. After looking online I do think the toothbrush heads are a bit too expensive but they are good quality and do last for 3 months. Overall, I think it is a great product with multiple amazing features and it feels less of a chore brushing my teeth twice a day

I've used other electric toothbrushes before, but none of them were as good as this one. The design is sleek and modern, and it feels comfortable to hold. I like that it offers several brushing modes and remembers my last setting. The pressure sensor light ring is a great feature -- it helps ensure I'm brushing with the right amount of pressure. The Oral-B app is also a nice addition, showing in real time which areas I've already cleaned, making my brushing much more thorough. [This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I have always used manual toothbrushes as I felt they could give a better clean from you being able to be more vigorous but this toothbrush was a total game changer! From my first try and using the app in conjunction, I couldn't believe how off my timing was and how many areas in my mouth were not cleaned as thoroughly as others. From using the app, I have now nailed the timings and how to best cover each area to ensure a deep clean. It alerts you when you are applying too much pressure along with when you are not putting enough through the light around the head of the toothbrush. They really have thought of everything that a dream toothbrush could do and made it! There are multiple modes for cleaning your teeth such as if you want an intensive clean or for sensitive teeth, I just used the normal mode. Something else that was great was I have always suffered with bleeding gums but since using this toothbrush it has massively helped, showing how much of a better clean it is providing. There is not anything I can think of that would improve this product (other than perhaps preferring a different body colour). I cannot recommend this product enough - it has forever changed how I will brush my teeth!
