[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] Found this electric toothbrush much better than any of the other toothbrushes that I have used.The pressure indicator was really useful, I found that I had not been pressing hard enough. My teeth felt really clean after I had used it. The Good morning and smiley face were a nice touch and would be really good for children. I would have liked a slightly less slippy handle. I added the app to my phone but keep forgetting to do anything with it. I don't have my phone to hand in the bathroom.

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I received the duo pack to test, which is handy as it contains both a pink & a black toothbrush-great for couples! The toothbrush itself is a step up from my regular Oral B - more modern, stylish and has great features. Tells you not only how long you're before, but whether or not you're brushing too hard or not-which is great. Had all the usual features such as a timer-but overall seems more modern. And you can link up to an app on your phone to check oral health progress.

Thrilled with the pretty much instant results from using the new Oral-B iO6 toothbrush! My partner and I doubled up with new brushes so that we could compare results. We're both lifelong Oral B users (brushes and paste), so were intrigued to find out what the benefits of the i06 would be in comparison to our old brushes (both electric). I would honestly say that I noticed the results from first use. Not just because I was using a new brush-head, but also the depth and coverage of the cleaning left my whole mouth and all teeth feeling properly - almost professionally - cleaned and cared for. i love the small details that make every brush a conversation - the light around the band that shows is you're brushing too carefully or applying too much pressure, the small buzzes that indicate when you've lingered too long in one area or that optimal brushing time has peaked. It's so useful to get this feedback as it's easy to become absent-minded when brushing and think about a million other things. But brushing is key to dental health, and Oral B have made it both a more personalised experience, and a more interactive one through the added features that the i06 delivers. I have noticed an improvement not just in mouth-feel (cleanliness, smoothness, prolonged feeling of freshness) but also in the whiteness of my teeth, which shows not just that the toothbrush offers more effective cleaning - but also that my brushing techniques and application have improved too, which is a win-win! I'm really pleased with my new brush, so happy to continue using it and seeing its continued benefits - especially considering that I can't get an appointment to see a dentist, so am fully reliant on myself to look after my own teeth at the moment! [This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] Prior to using this Oral-B io 6 toothbrush I has always been using Philips Sonicare which I enjoyed due to the Sonic action as it seemed to always clean my teeth extremely well. So I was unsure what to expect with this Oral B one with its round and rotating brush motion. After using it for just under 1 and a 1/2 weeks I have been rather surprised, and pleasantly so. It has given a really good mouth cleaning experience with my teeth feeling smooth and shiny after brushing, though it did take a little of getting used to the new brushing experience. As at first I was not supplying enough pressure whilst using it as with my previous brand you barely needed to touch your teeth with any pressure at all. Fortunately though, this io 6 brush has a really handy indication ring of light that lets you know the optimum pressure when brushing. White for too light (which I received on my first few brushing sessions), green for optimum pressure and red for too much pressure. So once I was up to speed with this I was very happy with the brushing results and the supplied brush head works extremely well.The brush itself is of a solid build and comes in an attractive black colour. The brush heads supposedly are magnetic and are therefore very easy to slip on and off the main toothbrush without any effort or over tightening (which is a problem I often previously has with Philips Sonicare in fact). So all very positive so far. However I was a little surprised when I looked up the cost of replacement brush heads seeing the RRP as £29.99 for a pack of 2 or £49.99 for a pack of four, though both are on offer at Boots and Superdrug at half this price. But that still seems rather expensive in order to buy in to this new ecosystem. One of the options in the toothbrushes interactive display actually gives you an indication of how long the brush head has before it needs to be replaced. At first operation, my brush head stated 13 weeks and I note that according to the literature the expected lifetime if 3 months, which would be four heads per year, so potentially £49.99 per year at full RRP.In terms of brushing, this model comes with 5 different modes. However I only really used two of them to get a satisfying clean. These being the default to Daily clean and also the Intense. However I'm not sure how much I could notice between these two, but both left my teeth and mouth feeling very clean and neither caused any issues on my gums. The other three modes seemed to be too calm or just provided a less satisfying to clean each of my teeth, these being Sensitive, Whiten, Gum Care.Aside for the on going costs, my other disappointment is that the battery doesn't seem to be lasting very long. I have found that my io 6 brush has needed to be charged approximately once every 5-6 days with two brush sessions per day (one morning and one evening). I noted that after reaching about 10% battery life, the brush would take at least 12 hours for a full charge in my normal 215V shaver socket in the bathroom. Whilst charging the io 6 brush itself flashes white until fully charged, and there was no other indication until you take the brush of the charging stand and then the display displays the current battery level in % form. After monitoring each brushing session and I noted that the battery depleted between 7-11% per brushing session which seemed quite a lot, including when the Bluetooth function is turned off.In addition to the light rings when brushing, this io 6 brush also indicates the passing of a 30 second segment by a slight changed in the brush speed/direction thus letting you know to switch position in your mouth. However unlike my previous Sonicare it continues operating indefinitely until you manually turn it off with the on/off button, whereas my Sonicare would stop automatically after two minutes. This however didn't really cause an issue and so was fine to get used to.Upon first setup of the brush you can also set your desired user colour which lights up when you first pick the brush up each time which is a nice tough. It also comes with app access via Bluetooth but I didn't really use this as my main requirement is to have an extended battery life and so I switched this feature off on the brush as Bluetooth was enabled by default.All in all I have very much enjoying using this brush despite the slight concern over the battery life. I am hoping that with a few full charges/discharges it might begin to hold its charge well, if not then I do hope this does not deteriorate over time too quickly as this could cause a problem, certainly for the expected RRP for this model. But in terms of cleaning I would say that this is actually on par or if not better than my previous Sonicare brushes, and so in the future I could now see myself sticking with the Oral B io series, assuming of course I can obtain the required brush heads an attractive price.

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I have been using the oral-B io6 for several weeks now, my initial impression is wow!!! This is next level teeth cleaning, even after the first time of using this my teeth and mouth felt so much cleaner, more like a clean done by the therapist at my dentist. So after using this for several weeks now, my teeth appear whiter, and my gums much healthier. This tooth brush has 5 smart modes for cleaning, which is you can easily change by the press of a button, from an intensive clean to a delicate clean for sensitive teeth, even with a gum care option. I love the smart pressure sensor feature. The light ring on the tooth brush turns green when cleaning correctly and turns red if too much pressure is used. The light stays white for too little pressure. The brush vibrates at intervals to let you know to move to other sections of the mouth. With a longer vibration at 2 mins mark. There is a timer on the brush informing you on how long you have cleaned your teeth. My personal only negative would be, that i would prefer the tooth brush to turn its self off at the 2 minute mark. Took a few days to remember to turn the brush off when removing from mouth, to save on the mirror splatter. Included in the box is a carry case that holds both toothbrush handle and brush head. I was disappointed that the box only contained 1 brush head. I feel it should contain at least 2 heads. The handle also has battery level indicator with % available. It did seem to take an extended time to fully charge. Took approx 18 hours to charge fully.

Connected to the app on my phone and keeping a record of my usage, letting me know if I have missed any part of my mouth and how much pressure to use for maximum benefit. I would recommend the Oral b series for great oral health and ease of use.

My old toothbrush charge wasn't lasting long so opportunity for this new one was appreciated. It lasts sooo long. The multiple cleaning modes are excellent. As someone with gum disease and tender areas with loose teeth and veneers being able to switch between modes for different issues is so good.Connecting to your phone and tooth assessment and brushing quality is a great addition.I'm genuinely pleased with this new toothbrush it's such a fab upgrade to my old one and hope it will last as long as the previous one too

Finally i can throw away my old electric toothbrush that I used for 5 years and it still works so well. I love the io6 version.Sleek design and the extra modes are really nice. obviously I picked the pink one and my partner got the black one. I have sensitive teeth. I can't use a regular toothbrush,my gums bleed each time I use a regular tooth brush. This Oral B io6 version is so much better than my older version. This one got a sensitive mode and a whitening mode too. My teeth never been this clean. Honestly it's a 10/10 from me.

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I've had an Oral-B toothbrush for several years and it has been good, but this new toothbrush was incredible. Opening the box, it looked attractive, felt good and was well packaged.The moment I picked the toothbrush up, the screen lit up to tell me there was 47% battery and Daily Clean. Interesting.Running the toothbrush in daily clean, I will admit my teeth felt much better than it did using my old toothbrush. The action is smoother, kind of like when the replace the track on a rollercoaster. This new toothbrush was very smooth in comparison to my rattly old toothbrush.The glowing ring on the neck of the brush glows green to tell you are applying the correct amount of pressure, red when there is too much and white when there is too little. I found this very useful as even after years of an electric toothbrush I still find myself pressing very hard like I did with an old manual brush.The timer function was great and made me realise that I don't usually brush my teeth for long enough! I could keep an eye on it and know I wasn't lying to my dentist next time she asks if I brush my teeth for at least 2 minutes.The different brush modes were really interesting and I've used the whitening one with some special whitening toothpaste and it really does seem to make a difference.My only complaint is is the fact it still comes with a 2 pin plug rather than USB and finding an adapter can be tricky. However, while I may complain about it, I appreciate the fact it stands my toothbrush upright so it isn't rolling around on whatever surface I am charging it on.The toothbrush comes with an app which is surprisingly easy to use, even for a Luddite like myself. It keeps track of your brushing and shows you where you are brushing in your mouth. It's very clever and very useful.All in all, I would highly recommend this toothbrush and have since been out to replace my daughter's toothbrush as she struggles looking after her teeth. The app is particularly useful for her as it helps her keep track of how long she's been brushing and where she's brushed her teeth. I'd definitely give this full marks and recommend you try it.
