[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I've been using the Oral B iO3 Electric Toothbrush for the past two weeks. Overall it's been a great experience. I really enjoy the powerful brushing it provides, which leaves my teeth feeling noticeably cleaner. One feature I've found especially helpful is the pressure sensor light, which lets me know when I'm brushing too hard, further helping me protect my gums. The sleek design and comfortable grip make it easy to use. The travel case has been a big plus for me when taking it on the go. I also like how simple it is to use. A simple one-button operation and easily changeable brush heads mean it's very user-friendly. However, there are a few things I wish could be improved. It only comes with one brush head, which feels a bit limiting. Also there is no battery level indicator, so I didn't realise it needed charging until it started flashing red when it was nearly too late. It would have been brilliant if it indicated when the battery was around half full. The user manual is very basic and doesn't clearly explain the different brushing modes. Which means sadly, I haven't worked out how to use them. I also wish the two-minute timer was more obvious, perhaps with a stronger vibration or a more noticeable flashing light at the end so you know exactly when to stop. Despite those small drawbacks, I've genuinely enjoyed using it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, effective electric toothbrush.
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I received the 2-pack version--black for me, blue for my partner--and this is my first electric toothbrush. After a few weeks of use, I can say it definitely cleans better than a manual brush, but it's not perfect. The good part first. The iO3 feels sturdy and well-built. The handle has a nice weight to it, the timer keeps you brushing long enough, and the cleaning power is no joke. You can actually feel your teeth getting that dentist clean polish, especially around the gumline where manual brushes tend to miss. It's easy to handle, charges fast, and the magnetic motor makes brushing feel smooth and controlled. But here's where it falls short. The brushing modes are a bit too strong, even on the gentlest setting. For someone new to electric brushing, it can feel almost harsh at first. There's also no app connectivity or smart tracking--something that would've made it feel more modern and useful. It's a little disappointing when you know other brushes at similar price points include that feature. The power and build quality are impressive, but the experience lacks a sense of customization. You can't really fine-tune the intensity or get feedback on how you're brushing, so it ends up feeling a bit one-dimensional. Overall, it's a reliable, well-made toothbrush that delivers a deep clean, but it's missing the softer side--both literally and figuratively. A gentler mode and some smart feedback features would make it much more user-friendly, especially for first-timers like me.
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] Who would have thought that technology now a days could do things you've never imagine. That's exactly why I loved this Oral B toothbrush. The pressure sensor allows you to tell if you are brushing too hard; red for too hard and green for just right, it really is foolproof. After brushing each sections for the designated time, the brush will give a slight vibration to confirm it's now time to move onto the next sector. I'm glad to have swapped my manual toothbrush for this electric one, my teeth feel so much cleaner after each use!
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] It's been over a decade since I last used an electric toothbrush. I wasn't sure quite what to expect with this new electric toothbrush. However, I was pleasantly surprised as teeth and entire mouth felt cleaner after the first use. I like the additional light feature, which demonstrates if the pressure is too much, this ensures I'm not applying excessive pressure when brushing. Also pleased to know the brush will indicate when the toothbrush head needs replacing. Great product overall and incredibly pleased with the results so far!
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] Switching from a manual brush, I was genuinely impressed by how clean my teeth felt after the first few uses. The round head with micro-vibrations is gentle on gums, the 2-minute timer with 30-second pulses keeps you on track, and the pressure sensor ring is actually useful: white = too light, green = just right, red = too hard. Battery life has been strong and the brush is relatively quiet (more of a soft hum than a buzz). What could be better - It's hard to tell which of the three modes (Daily Clean, Sensitive, Whitening) you're in; you end up judging by feel. - The picture-only leaflet isn't very clear; a few words would go a long way. - The charger uses a 2-pin shaver plug in the UK, so you may need an adapter if you don't have a shaver socket. - The brush head is a bit bulky, making it slightly difficult to clean the front side of the back teeth comfortably. Overall, the Oral-B iO3 is a fantastic toothbrush that delivers a deep, effective clean and offers helpful features like the pressure sensor and timer. While there are minor usability issues, still if you're looking to upgrade from a manual toothbrush, this is definitely worth considering!
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I am genuinely impressed at how switching from manual to this electric toothbrush has changed my toothbrushing experience and at how it's helping get my teeth cleaner - and whiter. I have seriously stained / dark teeth, from all the habits I have (smoking, coke zero / coffee drinking, etc) and am always trying to find something that helps me get rid of the stains or at least get the teeth (especially the front ones) to look whiter. I could notice a big difference ever after a few days of using this toothbrush (I also use Oral B whitening toothpaste). And not only relating to teeth looking whiter, but the feeling of cleanliness. The timer (2 minutes, with 30-second intervals being signaled) really helps me make sure all sides and places get brushed for the proper time. I also enjoyed the pressure sensor which indicates whether the pressure you're applying is too much, too little or just right (green light). Two things I believe can be improved: Even though it has 3 cleaning modes, you can't really tell which one you're using - having an indicator of that would be very helpful. The other thing is that my gums took a while to adapt to the brush hardness - maybe having softer and smaller heads would be a welcome addition as well. Overall I highly recommend it!
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I've been using the iO3 for a week and I'm really impressed by how clean and smooth my teeth feel -- the magnetic iO drive plus the micro-vibrations remove plaque efficiently without feeling harsh on gums. The pressure sensor is particularly useful: the light ring around the neck gives clear feedback (red -- you're pressing too hard; green -- just right), which helps avoid over-brushing. On the downside, charging is a bit slow (takes quite some time to fully charge) and the battery lasts around two to three weeks with regular use, which is solid but not exceptional for this price point. Also, switching between the three modes (Daily Clean, Sensitive, Whitening) isn't very intuitive because there are no distinct labels or icons, so you have to learn by feel or sound. Overall, it feels like a premium toothbrush -- sleek design, good performance, useful features -- but with a couple of trade-offs you'll want to consider if you're picky about battery or user interface.
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I received this product to try and review from savvy circle I was very impressed after having only ever used manual brushing before, I was intrigued about the technology and if it would work but it really did and I was so impressed with the clean healthy feeling of my teeth after wards I was also able to monitor pressure while brushing with the green and red light on the brush and change its mode to what I needed
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] Being a premium toothbrush my expectations were obviously very high . The toothbrush itself is good quality , the head fits on easily with strong magnetic connection . Easy to clean and store in the case . This toothbrush has 3 cleaning modes which you switch between using the button but unfortunately there is no icon or light or anything to let you know what cleaning mode you have selected so it's very difficult to know I found this an issue. It has a built-in light that tells you if you are using the right amount of pressure , white is to little , red to much and green is just right . At the end of the clean you also get rainbow lights if you brush for the correct amount of time ,these were good features . The brush felt quite aggressive at first and took a little getting used to , it definitely made my teeth feel clean but would of liked a more sensitive option . Charging does take a little while but the battery does last quite some time , it's day 8 and I haven't needed to recharge yet . Overall I think it's a good toothbrush but for the price of the toothbrush and the cost of replacement heads etc I feel more features would be useful such as icons to show what mode you are using .
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I always struggled to brush my back teeth with a manual toothbrush but this makes it so much easier and I've noticed I feel like I've got much cleaner teeth after using this. It has a light indicator to tell you if you're going putting too much pressure on (I was definitely being too rough with a manual brush!) and it also indicates when you need to move on to a different area which I find very useful. My only bugbear is that it doesn't indicate clearly when the battery is running out and it literally just stops working (doesn't slow down or anything just stops completely).
