[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] The brush is better than manual brushing for sure, there is no doubt in that, but I am not sure, if it's better than the regular Oral-b electric brushes. I've been using the Oral-b Pro before. The Oi brush is rotating like the old ones but has vibration instead of the pulsation, so it gives you quite a different experience. At first I wasn't sure about it, I had a more 'clean feeling' after using the old toothbrush, but now I think it might have been due to the toothbrush head. The brush head in the Oi is quite tightly packed and kind of soft, and I didn't feel like it surrounds my teeth properly and clean between the teeth, but I saw that the 'radiant white' brush heads look a bit different, so I bought them to try, and I have to say it does make a difference. Now my teeth seem to be clean and I am happy to use this toothbrush. I don't have sensitive teeth or gums so the "Intense clean" mode seems to work best for me, the other ones are quite weak, but surely for people with bleeding gums etc the other modes may work well. The brush heads are quite expensive though, and it's a shame that they don't do the 'radiant white' heads 2-packs in black, as my brush is black and I would like them to match. You can buy black ones packed in four or more, so I don't understand why they don't sell it in twos. The battery lasts for around a week, so that's not bad. I like that it shows how much battery is left after each brushing, but it takes a reeeaaally long time to fully charge it. I am not very keen on the app. I used it for a couple of days to check how it works, but it seems not very accurate and a bit distracting. It may be ok for kids to get them into regular brushing, with the badge rewards etc, but I personally didn't like it. I also find that disabling the Bluetooth in the toothbrush extends the battery life.
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] used to have a battery-powered Oral-B toothbrush, which I was happy with, but switching to the Oral-B iO6 Electric Toothbrush Duo made a huge difference. The cleaning is much more thorough, yet gentle and quiet, with different modes to suit everyday brushing or sensitive gums. The pink color looks absolutely beautiful -- feminine, elegant, and a perfect choice for women who like both effective dental care and stylish design. Overall, the Oral-B iO6 feels like a whole new level of comfort and precision compared to the battery version. I can truly recommend it to anyone who wants healthy, clean teeth with a modern touch.
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I have had 3 Oral B electric toothbrushes previously 2 average price and one top of range that came with a Bluetooth display with timer etc so have used for many years. This item is available with an app for phone which I have not used.I do like my gadgets and think I would like the countdown timer that is available in the base on the model above, however I got used to the timer being on the handle after using and it does vibrate at 30 second increments which is good. The display is nice and clear and the brush looks good. The brush head seems to have had an upgrade over my previous as has the connection on the brush making the connection feel more sturdy. The light display for pressure on the ring I found easier to see if you brush your teeth in front of a mirror but I like that function as I used to brush my teeth too hard so very useful for myself The cleaning from the head feels more like a vibration/oscillation than just spinning round which took a bit of getting used to,I am hoping this will be an improvement in cleaning ability but need longer use to tell I would definitely recommend
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I have been using this toothbrush for a few days now and I have to say I'm a little undecided. After unboxing the product I put it on charge as I have done with all of my previous Oral-B toothbrushes however, it took two days to complete which I found unusual, as I write this the brush is back on charge again after only four days of use, if this is the extent of the battery life between charges then it is clearly going to spend most of its time sat on the charger, not a good sign in my opinion for a toothbrush in this price range, my previous more basic model used to run for around twelve to fourteen days before needing to be recharged when new. On first use I was presented with a prompt to update the toothbrush firmware, this was completely new to me and very unexpected, no explanation or details were given as to why the firmware was needed though, I accepted the prompt and the firmware downloaded but for some reason failed to install, I tried twice more but again, the update failed so gave up, it wasn't until I next used the brush that it finally went through, I haven't noticed any difference so have no idea what the firmware actually did. All that aside, I was extremely impressed at how clean my teeth felt after brushing, running my tongue over the surface of my teeth they felt incredibly smooth and they did actually look cleaner and the more I've used the brush, the slight staining in between the teeth is gradually disappearing. The improved pressure sensor is taking some getting used to though. My previous model used to lower the brush speed and the light ring used to turn red when too much pressure was applied, this brush is now able to alert you not only to too much brush pressure but also to too little and this is what I am finding difficult to adjust to as I feel like I'm using too much pressure, not according to the brush though, maybe that is why my teeth feel cleaner! The accompanying Oral-B app also provides real time feedback on which group of teeth are being cleaned, top - bottom, left or rightt and front although a lot depends on how you hold the brush as you clean, quite often I am brushing either side and find the the app says I am cleaning the front but this is not unique to this brush, my previous model reacted exactly the same way. I am a little concerned at how quickly the brush head has softened after only a week of use, the app estimates that I have approximately ninety days of use left but I can't see that being the case, I fear that due to brushing slightly harder than I would normally is causing the brush head to age quicker than my previous model using standard brush heads and after seeing how much the replacement brush heads are for this model, this could prove costly. Overall I like the design and feel of the brush, it does feel like it is of a higher quality than my previous model but it does cost more than three times as much. I do like the display built into the handle, the reassuring smile at the end of a brushing session in acknowledgement of achieving perfect coverage on all teeth is good to know but the app does just as good a job in all seriousness. Would I recommend this brush to a friend.. based on cost then no however, based on how clean my teeth feel then yes although the points I mentioned regarding battery life are of concern as to how long the brush will last.
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I got this to replace my current electric toothbrush and the first thing I noticed was the difference in power. The toothbrush is quite nice looking and the travelling case is a good ide, but I'm not entirely convinced about the different settings. They all seem to do the same thing to me. However, overall I'm quite impressed.
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I received this test toothbrush a couple of weeks ago and started using it immediately. I have to say I have found it to be a great improvement on my previous base model Oral-B electric brush. My teeth felt really clean after using it, almost equivalent to having had a scale and polish at the hygienist! It was easy to set up out of the box and came partially charged. Full charge took a further 5 hours. The brush displays remaining charge after use and I noticed that it used about 6% per 2 minute brushing cycle. By my calculations that would mean a week's charge if brushing twice a day which is more than adequate. It was really useful being able to see the remaining charge after brushing - no more getting half-way through cleaning your teeth only to have the charge run out. There are several different brushing modes which I've tried. They seem to result in a different rate of oscillation and I've settled into using the daily mode in the morning and whitening mode at night. The vibration of the head is quite different from my previous brush and took a bit of getting used to but I'm fine with it now. There is a 30 second warning to tell you to move onto the next quadrant in your mouth. This, along with the coloured light telling you if you're brushing too hard (red), ok (green) or missing (white) are really useful visual aids. Also there is a reminder telling you when to replace the head which is a good asset. I think given the retail price of these brushes, they are probably a fair investment. After all, there is nothing like having a bright fresh smile and being able to save on hygienist visits! I am so glad to have been able to try this brush out and will certainly continue to use it.
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] On opening the oral-b i0 series 6 electric toothbrush, it has a smooth comfortable handle to hold. Switching on, there is the option of using the Bluetooth oral-B app. Bear in mind you need iOS 17 update for it to work so older phones no. Has the 30 second timer intervals with the usual recommended 2 minute brushing the interactive cleaning is good. Tells you if you're pressing too much or too little. Shows where and performance of your technique. I do like this feature. Daily clean, whiten, intense sensitive and gum are modes are clearly shown. Out the box it came with 40% charge so before charging I got chance to try. Must say first impressions it just feels amazingly different. That numbing cleaning feeling if we can actually remember coming out of the dentists. You don't quite know what but it does feel good and something I've never had from a toothbrush. So far. Excellent
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] I've been using this toothbrush a little while now. The only reason I gave 4 stars is due to the very high price, which I'm sure will put a lot of people off. Great 1st impressions though. Looks very sleek and love the black colour (I do miss the slight rubber parts on my old brush as I felt it gives a better grip). It's definitely changed my brushed techniques. Who knew getting the correct pressure was so difficult, but I love the gum pressure sensor. It took me a few days to master the pressure. I started off too light in some areas and then Jumped to, too much pressure, so that was great to learn. I love the different modes. Started with sensitive, as I didn't want to hurt my gums too much. Now use daily clean and I definitely notice my teeth have an extra sparkle and noticeably less plaque. I used the app for a week and it helped spot areas I've not been brushing enough. However I did notice it was very slow to notice I was brushing the bottom left of my mouth quite often and this made my score always less than 100% because of this. I'm not sure I'll use the app regularly, maybe a spot check occasionally. The timer is great especially when it buzzes to tell you to move area after 30sec. The last helpful addition is the brush head replacement reminder because I never remember to change my current one. Hopefully my dentist will notice an impressive with my oral health.
[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive.] Was given this to test and review and omg I'm so glad I eas! I didnt realise how bad my toothbrushes was before. This gives you the option to link to your phone to check your coverage to ensure you get a whole mouth clean. At 41 years old, I didn't realise how much of my mouth I was missing before. My teeth feel clean and so do my gums. I will never go back to other brushes and my whole family have them ordered now!
